Peran Pertumbuhan Ekonomi Dalam Menunjang Kesejahteraan Masyarakat

Abstract

The role of economic growth aims to change people's lives. A prosperous society can be viewed through economic growth. Economic growth is a process towards a better increase based on rising national income, per capita income and also reduced unemployment. This research uses qualitative methods. This study aims to examine how economic growth in building community welfare. The results of this study show that based on the prevailing price in 2019 Indonesia's gross domestic product reached 15,833.9 trillion. Java and Sumatra regions as suppliers contributed the highest to the increase in gross domestic product in 2019. Meanwhile, in 2022 based on prevailing prices, the Indonesian economy will reach 4,919.9 trillion. In this case, the Java region is still the largest contributor to the increase in gross domestic product.
