Abstract
Compensation is one of the factors that plays a significant role in employee performance. Compensation is a form of return or appreciation that employees receive for the work they have done within a predetermined period of time. Apart from motivational support factors, work environment and leadership style, compensation has a very important role in maintaining employee performance levels. This is because every employee has the desire to be able to fulfill their life needs through the fulfillment they receive for the performance they have given. The method used in this research is a qualitative method in the form of a literature review study using previous research sources to compare several theories from several previous research journals. The results of this research show that recovery has a significant positive influence on employee performance.
