Manajemen Aset dan Liabilitas dalam Bank Syariah: Analisis Komprehensif Institusi Keuangan Berprinsip Syariah
Main Article Content
Abstract
The Islamic banking industry in Indonesia, since the establishment of Bank Muamalat Indonesia in 1991, has experienced rapid growth, reaching its peak in 2019. This growth is evident not only in financial aspects but also involves a broader performance assessment, including Sharia principles and organizational governance. The assets of Islamic banks have achieved remarkable milestones, strengthening Indonesia's position as a key player in the global Islamic banking arena. New approaches such as the Sharia Maqhasid Index (SMI) highlight the attainment of Sharia goals, while fund management and the phenomenon of mergers between BRIS, Mandiri Syariah, and BNI Syariah forming Bank Syariah Indonesia (BSI) underscore the urgency of assessing asset liability management in the context of sustainability in Indonesia's Islamic banking sector.
