Penerapan Konsep Maslahah pada UMKM Tahu Desa Laut Dendang Kabupaten Deli Serdang

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the application of the concept of maslahah to the Tofu UMKM of Laut Dendang Village, Deli Serdang Regency by focusing on the 3 elements therein, namely hifdzu an-nafs (maintenance of the soul), hifdzu al-mal (maintenance of property) and hifdzu al-bi'ah (maintenance of the environment). This research uses descriptive qualitative research methods, with data sources used in the form of primary and secondary data. The data collection techniques used are interviews, observation and documentation. The results obtained show that the application of the concept of maslahah to Tofu UMKM in the element of hifdzu an-nafs (maintenance of the soul) is able to provide comfort and maintain health for employees, the community and the surrounding environment from the dangers of pollution and help people meet their basic needs. Then the application of the concept of maslahah in Tofu in the element of hifdzu al-mal (maintenance of property) is that Tofu UMKM obtain their assets in a good way through buying and selling, use their assets in accordance with sharia and there is no element of taking other people's property because they are able to provide appropriate salaries to their employees so that no one feels wronged. And the application of the concept of maslahah in Tofu UMKM in the element of hifdzu al bi'ah (environmental maintenance), namely Tofu UMKM is able to minimize environmental pollution by managing and utilizing its waste so that environmental pollution does not occur.
