Abstract
The capital market can be an alternative investment tool that promises a profit while spreading risk. Every capital market participant needs to know their responsibilities, especially in ensuring fairness in transactions. Capital market actors are all elements, both individuals and organizations, who carry out activities in the capital market sector. In activities in the capital market, many parties have a stake. This study aims to find out more about the structure, facilitators, actors and supporters of the capital market. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection method used in this study uses secondary data, namely journals, books, official pages that have clear credibility. The structure of the Indonesian Capital Market is written in Law no. 08 of 1995 concerning the capital market which explains that policies in the capital market sector follow the stipulations of the Minister of Finance. Capital market actors include supervisors, administrators, companies, investors, brokers, underwriters, investment advisors, investment managers, supporting institutions, and supporting professionals. Capital market supporting institutions in Indonesia include Securities Administration Bureaus (BAE), Custodian banks, and Trustees.
